What's so special about this light …

As a general rule, I try to avoid lights with complicated dimming but this one is so useful, versatile and powerful I have to include it. Pumps the room full of light, indirectly, so less shadows and minimal glare. Angle it anyway you want (or hang it straight if you wish). Generously sized, light-weight and well priced (for the quality and light output you get). If you're after a lot of (dimmable) light, this pendant is worth a look.

From the Manufacturer's:

Amisol is a pendant light that occupies a large physical space with a minimal physical volume, for easy orientation in space. A translucent white film or a metallised mirror membrane is stretched inside a circular aluminium profile. Like a solar sail, an incredibly powerful light source projects a beam of light onto the large, almost weightless disk, either diffusing or reflecting the light.

Worth Noting

  • The diffuser stretches across the round aluminium frame
  • The stretch material won't be as smooth (or heavy & expensive) as glass
  • The white diffuser is semi-opaque and a bit of light will come forward through the diffuser
  • Requires assembly
  • You can angle the light as you want it (mostly)
  • LED lamping
  • Powerful source of indirect light (more than 3000 lumens)
  • Mostly backlighting - make sure your ceiling looks good cause it will be very well lit
  • 3000K
  • The larger size produces slightly less lumens than the smaller size
  • Anti-rotation accessory available upon request, sold sep
  • Push or DALI Dimming Only - requires 5 cables and specialist dimming control
